Fully supported by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, the "Hong Kong Awards for Industries" recognises the outstanding achievements of local enterprises in developing high-technology and high value-added projects, and commends excellent performances in various aspects. The "Upgrading and Transformation" award presented to the Group is organised by the Hong Kong Young Industrialists Council (HKYIC). It represents a new award category that was established this year and belongs to one of seven categories of the "Hong Kong Awards for Industries". The objective of the award is to encourage and applaud enterprises that have reformed their core businesses by participating in the Upgrading and Transformation Programme. Consequently, these enterprises are able to adapt to the ever-changing market and business environment, and thereby continuously raise their competitiveness. It also affirms the importance of upgrade and transformation in respect of Hong Kong's economic and industrial sectors.
